These terms explain how marketing email and marketing SMS (text messages) work when you sign up on a restaurant’s or venue’s website that uses Rest Portal (“we,” “us,” “our”) to collect customers. By submitting your information in that signup experience, you agree to these terms for those messages.

Who Sends Messages

Marketing emails and texts are sent on behalf of the business you signed up with (for example, a restaurant, bar, or venue), using tools we provide. That business decides what to send and how often. Rest Portal operates the technology and may send messages through service providers (such as email and SMS carriers).

What You Are Opting Into

When you provide your email address and/or mobile number and complete the signup, you consent to receive recurring automated marketing communications at the addresses you provided, including:

  • Email: promotional and informational messages about specials, events, menu updates, and related news from that business.
  • SMS: promotional and informational text messages about the same kinds of topics, to the mobile number you provided.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier.

How to Opt Out

  • Email: Use the unsubscribe link in marketing emails from that business. That removes you from marketing email for that sender as described in the message.
  • SMS: Reply STOP to the number that sent the text. You may also receive confirmation or help text as allowed by carriers and our SMS provider. Reply START (or as instructed in the confirmation) only if you intend to resubscribe.

Opting out of marketing messages does not necessarily opt you out of non-marketing messages you may receive separately (for example, a one-off transactional message), if applicable.

Eligibility

You should only sign up if you are the subscriber of the email address and mobile number you provide and you are at least the age of majority where you live (or older if your jurisdiction requires a higher age for marketing consent). Do not sign up using someone else’s contact information without permission.

Accuracy of Your Information

You agree to provide accurate contact details. If your number or email changes, you can opt out using the methods above and sign up again with updated information if you choose.

Changes

We may update this page from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued participation after updates means you accept the revised terms for future signups; prior opt-outs remain effective as described above.
